Silvia Ranchicchio was born in Todi (PG), May 26, 1978.

She receives the first instruction in art from the art school in Orvieto.

She has traveled to New York, attending classes in life drawing and computer design. In the Big Apple has had the opportunity to visit exhibitions and expressive languages  that flow from all over the world, encountering artists like Vanessa Becford and Gilbertand George, Barbara Swartz.

In 2006 she was invited by the artist and curator Graziano Marini,to participate in the creation of a sculpture to be placed at the park’s La Casella, Ficulle (tr).

In 2007 she was selected to participate in a workshop,”manufactu in situ”, Art in the Park in Cancelli,  Foligno(PG) with the artist-tutor Hidetoshi Nagasawa.

In the same year she attended a workshop in Croatia with two well-known Croatian architects Vinko Penezic and Rogina Kreimir and professor of art history Nigel Whiteley.

In 2008 she won the prize with the work Cerp Puzzle, made  four hands and is currently located in the exhibition space inside theCerp Rocca Paolina in Perugia.

In September 2010 one of her works was permanently installed at the park of Our Lady of Deliverance in Montalcino.

In 2011 she made  after the invitation of the sculptor Paolo Massei,  a permanent sculpture at the Sculpture Park of the Castelbuono di  Bevagna ( Perugia).

in the same year she was one of the artists selected for the Bienniale di Venezia,  Regione  Umbria,  curated by Vittorio Sgarbi, Gianluca Marziani  and Massimo Mattioli.

She lives between Milan and Perugia.
